Elizabeth Leach presents its 30th Anniversary Exhibition, The Shape of the Problem. Nearly 70 artists who have shown at the gallery over the last three decades will return for a whizbang, three-day extravaganza "celebrating the past, present, and future of the gallery, the Portland art community, and their relationship to the art world at large."

Day One: A group exhibition highlighting prominent historical artists of the last century, and featuring emerging artists alongside longtime gallery artists.

PDX Contemporary presents Unfinished Business, a selection of new prints by the late, much beloved Terry Toedtemeier. The images come from undeveloped exposures Toedtemeier took on roadtrips through Maine, Oregon and the Southwest. "These prints exist in a place outside his main body of work... but they are evidence of his ongoing aesthetic sensitivity to singular forms and the phenomena of light and land."

Bill McCullough, "May 6, 2006 (Boy with Gum)"

Blue Sky Gallery presents Bill McCullough's Technicolor Life, a color series exploring the personalities and pageantry of weddings. His approach "emphasizes the mysterious, more ambiguous side of this phenomenon of modern American life," letting the compressed atmosphere of scenes play out as "giant kinetic events."
