Director of the Milwaukee Art Museum has done just that, with impressively
arrogant statements about the effectiveness of protesting

Jeff, Thank you for consistently keeping this issue in the light. The MAM Director's comments, reveals how disconnected Institutions are from the very people, ideas, and work they propose to represent, support and champion. It is tragic and systemic. As an artist/curator/human I feel lobbed off at the knees and inept to correctly responding to this particular situation. But, I will certainly never give up the idea that a Museum or a Contemporary Art Center, or the streets, or the internet are places where protest of all kinds should take place.
