Laylah Ali
PSU et al present Laylah Ali for the PSU MFA Monday Night Lecture Series (PMMNLS). "Laylah Ali has had solo exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art, New York; ICA, Boston; MCA Chicago; Contemporary Art Museum, St. Louis; and MASS MoCA, among others. Her work was exhibited at the Venice Biennale (2003) and the Whitney Biennial (2004)."

Reed's Cooley Gallery presents
Nonetheless by Elspeth Pratt. This is the first U.S. solo show by this renowned Vancouver, B.C. artist. "Pratt's sculptural works use common building or household materials to engage complex ideas of architecture and social space. Her materials question ideas of value and permanence associated with sculpture, while her subject matter negotiates the line between abstraction and representation." The exhibition runs from February 1 - March 6, 2011.
