The University Club of Portland is seeking submissions for its 2010-2011 Artist-in-Residence program. "This year-long program offers a professional studio artist, living in Oregon or Southern Washington, the opportunity to create in a private studio, offer group or private classes, workshops, and lectures..." Sisters of the Road, a local non-profit that helps the homeless and others in need, is seeking artwork to be given to the recipient of the regional annual Nonviolence and Economic Human Rights Award. There's an initial budget of $1500 for creating the work, followed by the rights to reproduce it annually for $500 or less.
