Tacoma's Museum of Glass is seeking submissions for their first-ever juried art auction. All proceeds from auction sales go to benefit the museum, but! There are three serious cash prizes at stake ($2,500 - $10,000) and a five-day residency in the museum's hot shop. Works must be primarily made of glass and created after January 1, 2005. The Housatonic Museum of Art Burt Chernow Gallery is seeking submissions for Flower (Re)Power, "a juried art exhibition designed to repower the flower in art." All media are welcome, and "experimentation, critique, quirky perspectives, and general irreverence are encouraged!" Submissions are due by May 31. The 100th Monkey Studio is seeking submissions for three upcoming juried exhibitions. In July they'll be featuring "art maps." Deadline June 16. In August they're exploring self portraits. Deadline July 14. And in September they're having a special anniversary event, their 4th annual juried show. Deadline August 11. Check out their website for details.


Video artists! The Centro d'Arti e Ricerche Multimediali Applicate Applied Multimedia Art and Research Center is seeking submissions for the Arte video Roma Festival, which will take place in Rome (Italy) in June 2010. Artist proposals must be received by June 5. You can probably find details on their blog, but it's in Italian- contact ass.carma@gmail.com to request the call in English.
