Modou Dieng and Damien Gallery present Flashstream: New Video at the New Video Gallery at PSU. UO's White Box at the White Stag building presents Of Walking In Ice, curated by Jack Ryan. Inspired by Werner Herzog's book Of Walking In Ice, 16 artists explore themes of ice and travel - through film, sound, installation, painting, photography, sculpture and writing. On Wednesday, there will be an associated lecture by Jan Tumlir on "Asterisk and Obelisk: Reconsidering the Origin of the Work of Art," and the exhibition will have its opening reception during First Thursday.
