There have been a host of events in the past week, but here are some pics of the Falcon Art Community's open house on the 18th and yesterday's
Suddenly: where we live opening + booklaunch & psychedelic sprawl at Reed.
Falcon Art Community
The
Falcon Art Community by developer Brian Wannemaker may be the most successful new attempt at artist live/work space in Portland. Being at the busy intersection of Albina and Killingsworth steets in North Portland, it is certainly in a place popular with artists.

Studio of Paul Green who has shown at Chelsea's Bellwether Gallery
Uttrecht art supplies manager, Kelly McCarty also has a studio at the Falcon

Last but not least
Pushdot maintains a photography studio in the Falcon.
Suddenly: where we live opening & Psychedelic Sprawl at Reed College:

"Suddenly" opening @ Reed's Cooley Gallery (look for PORT's interview with Fritz Haeg soon)

Cooley curator Stephanie Snyder and Matt Stadler launch the "
Suddenly Reader" and kick off the psychedelic sprawl at Reed's Student Union.
