The Guardian got
ambushed at the Rothko Chapel.
The NYT's reviews
Looking
at Music at MoMA... does anybody question Bowie's influence musically or
visually? ...or is that something only his kid's might be able to do?
Peter Plagens has published first two installments of his on line novel
The
Art Critic on Artnet.
I take some issue with you, Jonathan Jones of the Guardian. Not all Americans are religious, and not all religious Americans are idiots or blind to art. And the Rothko Chapel is absolutely a site of art tourism, even if it's also a site of spiritual tourism. AND I happen to find the rich darkness of the room as meditative as it is perilous. There can be solace in accepting sadness.
word up double J, don't mess with Bowie or you'll find your Led Zeppelin vinal collection in a gooey heap!
