First Friday Picks December 2007 
Cory Clayton Jones Pushdot Studios is relocating, and having an open house this First Friday for people to come check out their new space. The gallery will have its grand reopening celebration in early 2008, and Pushdot is looking for submissions of digital, multi-media, and film work. This month, Jáce Gáce is exhibiting a collaborative installation between Gordon Barnes and Shelby Davis. The Closest it Gets From a Safe Distance combines the playful and the political as it questions our conflation of data with understanding in the fast paced "information age." Grass Hut is having a release party for their 2008 "Calendork." The show will featuring a sampling of artists who will "rule the walls" in 2008, including Apak, Evan Harris, Cho-Chan, Mark Todd, Amy Ruppel, Matthew Feyld, Luke Ramsey, Bwana, Scrappers, Martin and more.
