Portland in Miami guide  a Bruce Conkle Snowman @ Jack The Pelican Presents So, where can you find Portland galleries and artists in Miami? Art Basel Miami Beach: The SF based Jack Hanley Gallery represents mr. Harrell Fletcher and Chris Johanson Aqua: Elizabeth Leach Gallery, Small A Projects and Motel (run by PORT's co-founder/owner Jennifer Armbrust).  Ellen George's #17 at PDX Flow: PDX Contemporary Art (Ellen George, Storm Tharp and James Lavadour are personal favs... George sold really well last year) and Toomey Tourell (a SF gallery) who represents Matthew Picton. Scope: Jack the Pelican Presents (Bruce Conkle has been picked up by this New York Gallery and will also have an installation at JTP's "Grendel" offsite space as well. Also, the Oregonian has an interesting article with Eric Schneider whose Quality Pictures gallery opens tonight in Portland.
